Our groundbreaking Impactful Organization™ Certification Programme enables companies to accurately measure their social impact footprint, align with global sustainability objectives, and gain public recognition for their positive contributions to society.
This unique and holistic approach evaluates a company’s social impact footprint by seamlessly integrating both internal and external dimensions encompassing customers, employees, suppliers, communities, and beneficiaries.
Participating companies are assessed and benchmarked for maturity across 9 social impact footprint pillars and multiple subdomains that include purpose, strategy, leadership, brand, products and services, operations, workplace environment and culture, and corporate social responsibility, among others.
At an indicator level, our social impact footprint model is informed by Theory of Change and aligned with global disclosure standards (eg. GRI), Corporate Human Rights and Gender Equity Benchmarks (WBA), Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ILO Conventions, impact investment standards of evidence and JSE sustainability reporting guidelines.
By leveraging decision-useful data points, organisations are able to ensure continuous improvement of internal sustainability practices, while at the same time tell a more cohesive and compelling story about the positive social impact they are having on customers, employees, suppliers, communities and stakeholders.

Traditional employer branding typically focuses solely on internal HR processes. In contrast, our holistic approach encompasses a broader spectrum of measurable domains and indicators.
Our certification programme and grading system provides a unique opportunity to break through the comparison barrier and showcase your positive social impact footprint.
Companies that achieve level 3,4 or 5 are recognised as a Leader in Sustainable Social Impact and are certified as a Bronze, Silver or Gold Impactful Organization™.
